Sanjay Tamta, founder of the website, is a freelance writer/photographer/documentary film maker based in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand with over 25 years of contribution as a freelancer for Discover India, India Today Travel Plus, Woman’s Era, The Tribune, The Times of India and Mussoorie Times. Under his registered production house ‘The Shooting Box’ Sanjay has made documentary films for Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited, for the Artillery Brigade of the Indian Army, for Kasiga School Dehradun, for Country Inn and Suites by Carlson Mussoorie, for Mussoorie Public School and on the unique festivals and culture of Uttarakhand. Besides, Sanjay conducts high altitude expeditions, treks and day hikes, river rafting, bird watching, plantation drives, bikes and jeep safaris, nature/heritage/village walks, camping, musical nights and star gazing. Sanjay is the media manager for Mussoorie Sports Association and is a member of INTACH Mussoorie Chapter.
